Welcome to RishteyNaatey.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, mobile applications when available, profiles, communications, features, products and services provided under the RishteyNaatey.com name (collectively, the “Platform”).

RishteyNaatey.com is a venture of Zaxo Times Private Limited, Delhi, India (“Company”, “RishteyNaatey.com”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and is powered by Efforts4u.com.

By visiting, registering on or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Nature and Purpose of the Platform

RishteyNaatey.com is a family-first matrimonial platform intended only for genuine, marriage-oriented introductions between eligible individuals and their families. It is not a dating, casual relationship, escort, adult-content or social-chat platform.

We provide technology and discovery tools that may help members and families identify and contact potential matrimonial matches. We do not arrange, solemnise, guarantee or become a party to any engagement, marriage, financial arrangement or other relationship between users.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if:

1. you are legally competent to enter into a binding contract under applicable law;
2. the person for whom the profile is created has attained the lawful marriageable age applicable to that person and the proposed marriage;
3. the person is legally free and genuinely willing to seek marriage, or their marital status is truthfully disclosed wherever the Platform permits a profile for a divorced, widowed or legally separated person;
4. you are not prohibited by law, court order or any competent authority from using matrimonial services; and
5. you have not previously been removed or suspended by us for fraud, abuse, safety concerns or breach of these Terms, unless we have expressly permitted your return.

The Platform must never be used to facilitate child marriage, forced marriage, trafficking, exploitation or any unlawful union.

3. Profiles Created or Managed by Family Members

A profile may be created or managed by the individual concerned, a parent, sibling or another trusted family representative. A representative must:

• have the individual’s knowledge and lawful authority or consent;
• provide accurate information;
• clearly identify the relationship to the individual where requested; and
• respect the individual’s privacy, preferences and right to make their own marriage decision.

The person managing a profile and the individual represented by that profile may each be responsible for activity conducted through the account, to the extent permitted by law. We may request confirmation directly from the individual concerned.

4. Registration and Account Security

You agree to provide complete, current and accurate information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, OTPs and login credentials;
• ensuring that your registered mobile number and email address remain under your control;
• all activity conducted through your account, except activity caused by our own breach or failure; and
• notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access or misuse.

You may maintain only the number of profiles reasonably required for genuine matrimonial purposes. Duplicate, fake, misleading, impersonated or mass-created accounts are prohibited. We may require OTP, email, identity, photo, document or other verification before activating or continuing a profile.

5. Profile Information and Member Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for information, photographs, documents, preferences and other material submitted through your account (“Member Content”). You confirm that:

• the information is truthful, lawful, relevant and not misleading;
• photographs are recent and belong to the person represented;
• education, profession, income, age, marital status, family background, religion, community, health, lifestyle and other claims are accurately stated;
• you have the necessary permission to upload any third-party information or image; and
• the content does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property or other legal rights.

You must update material changes promptly, including changes in marital status or the decision to stop seeking a match. You should independently verify every material claim before making personal, financial, engagement or marriage decisions.

6. Verification Does Not Constitute a Guarantee

“Verified”, “reviewed” or similar labels indicate only that one or more checks determined by us may have been completed at a particular time. Verification is not a guarantee of a member’s identity, intentions, character, background, financial position, health, marital status, criminal history or the accuracy of all profile information.

Documents may be incomplete, outdated, altered or fraudulently obtained. You and your family remain responsible for appropriate independent checks, meetings in safe settings and professional advice where necessary.

7. Acceptable Use

You must use the Platform respectfully and only for lawful matrimonial purposes. You must not:

• create a profile without authority or impersonate another person;
• provide false, incomplete or deceptive information;
• use the Platform for dating, casual relationships, sexual services, harassment or obscene communication;
• demand or promote dowry, unlawful gifts, money or property in connection with marriage;
• solicit loans, investments, donations, business opportunities, employment, immigration sponsorship or financial assistance;
• ask for bank credentials, OTPs, passwords or other security information;
• threaten, stalk, bully, discriminate against, exploit or defame any person;
• upload intimate, obscene, hateful, violent, infringing or unlawful content;
• scrape, harvest, copy, sell, publish or misuse profiles, contact details, photographs or Platform data;
• send spam, bulk messages, advertisements, chain messages or malicious links;
• use bots, automated scripts, data-mining tools or unauthorised software;
• bypass privacy controls, security features, access restrictions or verification procedures;
• introduce malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Platform; or
• use information obtained through the Platform for surveillance, blackmail, identity theft or any unlawful purpose.

8. Safety and Interaction with Other Members

You are responsible for your interactions and decisions. Exercise caution, involve trusted family members where appropriate and take reasonable safety measures. In particular:

• do not send money, valuables, financial documents or account credentials to another member;
• verify identity, age, marital status, family, education, employment and other important claims independently;
• meet initially in a safe public place and tell a trusted person about the meeting;
• do not share sensitive contact, identity or financial information until you are comfortable; and
• report suspicious, abusive or unlawful behaviour promptly.

We do not conduct continuous background checks and cannot monitor every offline or online interaction. If there is an immediate threat, contact the appropriate police or emergency authority first.

9. Privacy and Contact Controls

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Profile details may be displayed to other members according to your chosen privacy settings and Platform design. Sensitive contact information may remain protected and be shared through permission-based connection features.

You must use another member’s personal information only for evaluating a genuine matrimonial introduction. You must not retain, reproduce, circulate or use it for any unrelated purpose. Adjusting privacy settings reduces exposure but cannot eliminate every risk of copying, screenshots or misuse by others.

10. Licence to Member Content

You retain ownership of your Member Content. By submitting it, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable to the extent required by law, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, moderate and communicate that content solely to operate, secure, improve and promote the Platform in accordance with your settings and our Privacy Policy.

You must not upload content unless you are authorised to grant this licence. Deleting an account will end future public display, subject to reasonable backup retention, legal obligations, dispute preservation and content already lawfully shared or copied by others.

11. Platform Communications

You agree that we may send service messages relating to registration, OTPs, verification, security, profile activity, introductions, support, policy updates and account administration through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications or other contact details provided by you, as permitted by law.

Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent requirements. You may opt out of promotional messages using the method provided, but essential transactional or security communications may continue while your account remains active.

12. Free and Paid Services

Registration may be offered free of charge, while selected features may be free, paid or subject to limits. The current price, duration, taxes, benefits and payment terms for a paid plan will be shown before purchase.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase or required by applicable law:

• fees are payable in advance;
• access is personal and non-transferable;
• purchasing a plan does not guarantee responses, introductions, engagement or marriage;
• unused benefits do not have cash value; and
• fees are non-refundable once the paid service has been activated or used.

Any recurring payment will apply only when clearly disclosed and affirmatively authorised. We may change future prices or features without affecting an already purchased plan during its stated term, except where required for legal, security or technical reasons.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may use or link to payment gateways, messaging services, maps, app stores, identity services, social networks or other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of those services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, acts, omissions or security, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Moderation, Reporting and Cooperation

You may report an unsuitable or suspicious profile through the Platform or by emailing Support@rishteynaatey.com. We may review accounts, Member Content and relevant records to investigate reports, enforce these Terms, protect users or comply with law.

We may remove content, restrict features, request documents, issue warnings, suspend or terminate an account, and preserve or disclose relevant information to competent authorities where reasonably necessary and legally permitted. We are not required to disclose confidential moderation methods, another person’s private data or information that could compromise safety or an investigation.

Submitting a false, malicious or retaliatory complaint is prohibited.

15. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion through available settings or by contacting support. We may suspend, restrict or terminate access, with or without prior notice where permitted by law, if we reasonably believe that:

• these Terms or applicable law have been breached;
• an account creates a safety, fraud, privacy, reputational or security risk;
• verification cannot be completed;
• payment is reversed, disputed or unauthorised;
• the account has been inactive for an extended period; or
• suspension is required by a court, government or competent authority.

Termination does not affect rights, obligations or liabilities that arose before termination. Provisions intended by their nature to survive—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and dispute provisions—will continue.

16. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its name, logos, design, software, databases, text, graphics, selection and arrangement, is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for limited personal use of the Platform, no right or licence is granted to copy, modify, distribute, publish, frame, sell, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit any part of it without prior written permission.

“RishteyNaatey.com”, associated branding and other marks displayed on the Platform may not be used without authorisation.

17. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a safe and reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available access. Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn for maintenance, security, legal, commercial or technical reasons. Android and iOS applications may remain unavailable while under development, maintenance or review.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or registered contact details where required. The updated Terms will take effect on the stated date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

18. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:

• every profile or statement is genuine, complete, current or accurate;
• members will respond, meet, become engaged or marry;
• members or families will be compatible, suitable, safe or trustworthy;
• use of the Platform will be uninterrupted or free from harmful components; or
• any matrimonial outcome will meet your expectations.

We are not a marriage broker, investigator, counsellor, guarantor or agent of any member merely because we operate the Platform. Profile suggestions, filters and curated results are discovery tools and not professional, legal, medical, psychological, financial or relationship advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies or rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss, including loss arising from Member Content, another user’s conduct, failed introductions, emotional distress, loss of opportunity, data misuse by a member or transactions conducted outside the Platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, the Company’s aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to the Company for that service during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For free services, liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

This limitation does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its directors, officers, employees and contractors from third-party claims, losses, penalties, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from your Member Content, unlawful conduct, misuse of another person’s data, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify the Company for the Company’s own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

Please include your name, registered contact details, profile or account reference, a clear description of the issue and supporting material. We may request reasonable identity verification before acting on a request involving personal data or account control.

Where applicable law requires publication of a designated Grievance Officer’s name, postal address or additional contact particulars, those details should be displayed on the Platform and will form part of these Terms.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, courts of competent jurisdiction in Delhi, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and the Company should first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written communication for at least 30 days, unless urgent interim relief is reasonably required.

23. General Provisions

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, business transfer or by operation of law, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, purchase terms shown at checkout and any feature-specific rules expressly incorporated by reference constitute the agreement between you and the Company regarding the Platform. If there is a conflict, feature-specific or purchase terms will control only for that particular feature or purchase.
